In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Dickie Dunaway, the Owner and President of Dunaway Glass for over 40 years, decided it was time for a makeover. The corporate office that was once in the “little brown house: next to the 28th location,” was no longer inhabitable. After the 2nd anniversary of the storm the new construction began. Ryan Lawrence, Nancy Dunaway’s son took the lead as the construction supervisor. We added on to the original location with an additional 5000 square feet. Then the shuffling took place. The daily operation was moved to the center of the building and the front offices were given a beautiful make over. The newly renovated space now houses the retail auto department and on the east side is our gorgeous corporate office.
